Adoption Application

Adopting from our cat rescue means giving a deserving cat a second chance at a loving home, while also freeing up space to save more cats in need. Our rescue ensures all cats are health-checked, vaccinated, and socialized, providing adopters with a well-cared-for pet. Additionally, adopting from us supports our mission to reduce the number of homeless cats and promote responsible pet ownership in the community.

We ask that you fill out the application completely. An animal is a friend for life and we want to assist the potential adopter in finding the family member that is most compatible with his/her lifestyle. An unwise adoption can result in an unpleasant experience for not only the adoptive families but for the animal as well. We hope you will agree that the animal’s welfare must be our main consideration. If an adoption does not work out, we will expect to be notified immediately and will gladly take our animal back.

Foster Application

Fostering a cat from our rescue provides a temporary, loving environment for cats in need, helping them become more adoptable. It allows you to experience the joy of having a cat without a long-term commitment, and you play a crucial role in their journey to finding a forever home. By fostering, you directly support our rescue's mission and help create more space to save additional cats.

Surrender Agreement

If you are in need to surrender your cat due to severe allergies, financial difficulties, or significant life changes such as moving to a pet-restricted location. Persistent behavioral issues or health problems in you, the owner, or the cat can also make it impossible to provide proper care. We ensure that by bringing your cat to Silver Whiskers Feline Rescue organization will be the best solution for both you and your cat. We are dedicated to finding it a new and loving home.

Release Form - Change of Ownership/Surrender/Medical Financial Responsibility
To: SILVER WHISKERS FELINE RESCUE INC., ANNIE & JIM MARKICHEVICH, 5603 PALM ST, LAS VEGAS, NV 89120 I understand that upon surrendering my cat(s) to the above named person/rescue, that person/rescue becomes the sole owner of the cat(s). I will make no attempt to reclaim my cat(s) unless mutually agreed upon by the named rescue and myself. I fully grant this person the right to give my cat(s) any medical treatment deemed necessary, and to possibly place the cat(s) in an approved adoptive home, should it become necessary. Should a veterinarian determine my cat(s) is too ill to be treated, if necessary, I give the above named person/rescue the right to humanely euthanize said cat(s). I release the above named person/rescue from all liability concerning said animal, and the above named person will make every attempt to provide adequate care for the remainder of the animal(s) life. I HEREBY STATE THAT I AM SURRENDERING MY CAT(S) OF MY OWN FREE WILL.
