At Silver Whiskers Feline Rescue, We don’t know their pasts, but we always know their futures…
At Silver Whiskers Feline Rescue, we operate as a senior cats hospice, special needs, and hybrid rescue and sanctuary. While we do adopt out healthy cats, many of our rescues are not adoptable and stay with us long-term. We rely heavily on long-term or forever fosters, as we do not offer short-term fostering. Our organization provides all necessary medical care for the cats, while our dedicated fosters supply food, litter, love, and a safe indoor environment. Currently, we do not have volunteers, so our fosters are an essential part of our mission to provide lifelong care for our feline friends.

Mission
Silver Whiskers Feline Rescue, is dedicated to helping the senior, hospice, and special needs cat populations. While younger cats and kittens are more easily adoptable, older cats, and those with disabilities, are often overlooked. We strive to increase community recognition of the value of older or special need pets, and to bring awareness to the public of how much these cats still have to give.

At our organization, we hold all life in the highest regard and care deeply for felines who cannot care for themselves, recognizing the unique gifts that older and special needs cats bring into our lives. We are committed to promoting awareness of older feline ownership, providing transparency in all we do, and always striving to give more than we receive.
Vision
The vision of Silver Whiskers Feline Rescue, is to increase the number of senior cats fostered and adopted in our community, as well as increasing homes for special needs cats, including those in hospice care. Establishing a 'Seniors for Seniors' foster program at adult day care and senior living facilities.
